Mobile Crisis Response services offer intensive, short-term mental health support for individuals of all ages who are experiencing a severe psychiatric crisis outside of a hospital setting. The primary goal is to stabilize acute mental health symptoms quickly, prevent hospitalization or readmission, and ensure safety in the least restrictive environment. This service also works to engage family, community resources, and support systems to promote long-term recovery and rehabilitation.
To qualify, a Comprehensive Needs Assessment must confirm the necessity of Mobile Crisis Response services. Individuals must demonstrate a psychiatric crisis severe enough to pose a risk of hospitalization and require immediate intervention for stabilization.

At the time of admission, individuals must meet at least two of the following criteria:

- Difficulties with daily living activities (ADLs) such as hygiene, food preparation, nutrition, or financial management, leading to potential health or safety risks.
- Engagement in inappropriate behavior that necessitates immediate intervention by mental health professionals, social services, or law enforcement.
- Impaired cognitive abilities that prevent them from recognizing personal danger or significantly inappropriate social behavior.
