ARTS Partial Hospitalization (PHP) Level 2.5
The focus of Clearview Counseling Services’ co- occurring enhanced substance abuse Partial hospitalization (SA PHP) is to effectively and efficiently stabilize individuals experiencing acute psychiatric crises and repeated relapse episodes to interrupt cyclic patterns of inpatient hospitalization through intensive clinical day treatment programming. Available 4 – 6 days/ week in an outpatient day treatment setting, ASAM Level 2.5 services shall require 5 hours /day (20 – 30 hrs./week) of clinical, medical, and psychiatric assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic programming to engage adults diagnosed with primary sub- stance use disorders (SUD’s) and co-existing mental illness (MI) diagnoses.

Through a multi-disciplinary team of qualified credentialed Addiction Treatment Professionals (CATP’s), Clearview’s ASAM Level 2.5 program provides a highly structured but individualized program of skilled treatment services. ARTS Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Level 2.1
The focus of Clearview’s co-occurring enhanced sub- stance abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SA IOP) of services is to provide integrative and holistic clinical treat- ment to adults diagnosed with primary substance use disorders (SUD’s) and co-existing mental illness diagno- ses. Available 3 – 4 days/week in an outpatient office/ group treatment setting. ASAM Level 2.1 services shall require 3 hours/day (9 – 19 hrs./week) of clinical treatment programming throughout the community reintegration phase of early recovery.

Community Stabilization and Transition
Community Stabilization is a bridge service that sup- ports an individual as they are making a transition be- tween certain levels of care when there is a gap in availability of services. Services may include brief therapeutic and skill-building interventions, engagement of natural supports, interventions to integrate natural sup- ports in the de-escalation and stabilization of the crisis, and coordination of follow-up services.

Short-term service designed to support an individual and their natural support system following con- tact with an initial crisis response service or as a diversion to a higher level of care.
​
Critical Features of Community Stabilization include:

Recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, culturally congruent and developmentally appropriate provision of services, integrating the Zero Suicide/ Suicide Safer Care principles.

Assessment and screening, including explicit screening for suicidal or homicidal ideation.

Care Coordination

Linkage and referral to ongoing services, supports and resources (examples: housing, peers, chaplaincy), as appropriate and to the least restrictive level of care.

Coordination of specialized services to address the needs of co-occurring intellectual/developmental disabilities and substance use.

Engaging peer/natural and family support to strengthen the individual’s participation and engagement.

Accepting Medicaid Fee-for-Service plans from all VA Medicaid Managed Care Organizations including Molina Health Care, Aetna Better Health of VA, Anthem Healthkeepers Plus, Sentara Health, Optima Health, and United Healthcare.
